Cruelty-free skin care brands
We can’t deny it’s nice (and important) to be a conscious consumer of everyday goods.
For most, a morning and evening skincare routine is a priority, but not all of us have the time or energy to dedicate 10 minutes to a routine. But let’s be honest – it makes a HUGE difference in the long run and it’s just one of those life admin tasks that can’t be ignored.
We’ve made a list of some of our favourite cruelty-free products that will make the routine a little easier.
A friend of our Geelong studio, Happy Society products are designed improve your skin, your mood and help with restlessness and anxiety. All products are made with essential oils and 100% natural and vegan friendly ingredients and work wonders for your space, skin and mind. The Les Fleurs Face Mask and Botanical Facial Mist are something special. Did someone say early Christmas present?
Since launching, Go-To Skincare has kinda been a game changer. It ticks all the right boxes, and then some. Its fun, playful and honest approach to skincare makes it a pleasure to buy, use and enjoy. There are products for your lips, face, and body, and even a section dedicated to sets – for dads, bridesmaids, daily essentials and more. Aside from all of the things, we recommend the Transformazing facemask to take you out of winter skin and spring skin.
Sukin Skincare has something for every skin type and doesn’t just stop at face products. This Australian-made vegan and cruelty free brand prides itself on using none of the nasties. The expansive range includes nourishing face + body oils, exfoliating scrubs, cleansers and hydrating toners. Oh, and luxurious shampoo and conditioner. Woo!
Sometimes it’s fun to work with what you’ve got, like with a homemade facemask. A good starting point is mixing 2 tablespoons of honey, avocado and olive oil with one mashed mango – leave on for 15 minutes and remove with a warm cloth.
At 213 we love self-care – these products are guaranteed to leave you feeling ready and rejuvenated!
