Sammy Veall

Sammy is the owner and founder of Yoga 213. She fell in love with the practice of yoga years ago after discovering Hip Hop yoga and Steve Ross in LA. Sammy’s life experiences and time spent with Steve made her realise that life is all about being happy. Most recently she has been exploring and teaching meditation which is her favourite time of the day. Basing all her studios and retreats around her ‘To Be Happy’ philosophy, Sammy continues to share the happiness of yoga with hundreds of student’s everyday.

Taylor Hunter

Taylor has been a part of the Yoga 213 family for over five years after falling in love with the combination of music and movement.  Through her journey from student to teacher, She has developed a great level of compassion and an ability to connect with people on a deeper level. Taylor’s caring nature puts students at ease and she loves nothing more than to travel the world sharing yoga.

Important information

Cancellation policy

The final payment is due on 20/9/2019. Cancellations made outside of this date will forfeit the $500 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made inside of the final payment date will incur a 100% cancellation fee. If serious illness or injury occurs outside that prohibits you from participating in the retreat a refund of monies paid outside of the non-refundable deposit will be considered.

Payment plans

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due when you submit the registration form. The remaining balance is then split up into 4 payments to be paid on the 1st of each month. The final payment is due on or before 20/9/2019. Each payment must be clearly named and remittance must be sent to [email protected]

I'm a beginner yogi, can I still come?

Of course! This retreat is open to all levels of yoga experience.

How do I get to Cactus Moon Retreat?

Cactus Moon Retreat is a 2.5hr scenic drive from LAX airport. We recommend renting a car and driving down. Alternatively, you can catch a 50min flight from LAX to Palm Springs airport and then catch a 30min taxi to Cactus Moon.

What is the weather like in Joshua Tree in October?

Perfect. During the day you can expect 27 degrees and sunshine. At night the temperature will drop to 10 degrees to allow a restful nights sleep.

Can I come on my own?

Yes, we welcome solo travellers as well as friends and groups on this retreat. Coming along to a retreat on your own is a great way to meet likeminded people and get out of your comfort zone. All our retreats have a welcoming and friendly vibe!

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Yes we do. All meals will be vegetarian and any dietary requirements will be catered for.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 3pm and the retreat begins at 5pm. Check out is by 11am.
