Satsang Sessions is a complimentary community offering for yoga teachers or 200hr YTT graduates.

Join your fellow yoga teachers and engage in a spiritual dialogue. Once a month on a Thursday a
local Melbourne teacher will explore a spiritual teaching followed by a guided meditation. Discussions, herbal tea and treats to follow.

Sian Pascale, founder of The Light Collective, will lead our August Satsang exploring how pranayama, mantra and meditation can be a part of every yoga class.

Sian will discuss how creating a Soulful Practice for your students opens them up to a deeper experience of yoga. We will look at how incorporating pranayama, mantra and meditation can bring sacred connection to your students and begin to demystify and awaken the energetic body. Through both philosophy and practice Sian encourages the felt experience to be your guide.

Join us and our favourite yogi Steve Ross for a 2 hour workshop filled with soothing yin yoga and qigong meditation. Qigong is a Chinese meditation based off the practice of Tai Chi, it is incredibly healing on the body and opens up the mind to new experiences. Afterwards enjoy homemade vegan cacao in our chill space!

Who is Steve Ross?

Steve has practiced various styles of yoga for most of his life and has been teaching for over 40 years. He has explored in great depth the physical aspects of yoga as well as the philosophical and spiritual roots of yoga. Steve spent four years living as a monk in the Vedic tradition and has ceaselessly sought out and revelled in the presence of some of the most notable masters of our time – both in India and elsewhere. Author of best selling yoga book, Happy Yoga, Steve is honoured to have the opportunity to share his vast knowledge and experience with other spiritual seekers.

Explore meditation with life time meditator and former Monk, Steve Ross! In this 3 part series Steve will explore different meditation techniques and discuss philosophical concepts such as the nature of the mind, culture vs reality, effort vs acceptance and happiness.

This series is recommended for those new to meditation along with regular meditators looking to deepen their practice and understanding. You will discover how a regular meditation practice can lead to a life filled with joy and happiness. Each class will begin with an open talk from Steve followed by a guided meditation. Expect to leave with a clear mind and new skills to create a consistent and purposeful meditation practice at home. Enjoy herbal tea and chocolate in our chill space after.

Challenge yourself to 5 yoga classes a week for 4 weeks to kick off the start of Spring!

Yoga challenges are a great way to grow your practice, increase strength, deepen flexibility and calm the mind. The aim is to attend 20 classes over 4 weeks. We suggest attending a mix of different class styles and coming to 5 classes per week.

$200 for 20 classes ($10 per class). Pass valid for use from Sunday 1st September – Monday 30th September.

Full Moon Yin, Sound Bath + Cacao

The full moon in its brightest phase brings immense energy and amplifies whatever you are thinking, feeling or doing. It’s the perfect time for both releasing and manifesting.

Join sound meditation practitioner, Mona Ruijs, and Yoga 213 teacher, Taylor Hunter, on a healing journey of yin, sound and cacao to let go of what no longer serves you and tap into the full moon’s vibrant energy to encourage change and growth.

First enjoy 50 minutes of soothing yin yoga to release tension from the body and calm the mind. Once in savasana Mona will begin the sound bath using gongs, quartz crystal bowls, singing bowls and various sound tools to create an immersive meditation experience.

After class we will unwind and connect with vegan cacao elixirs in our cosy chill space. All levels are welcome!
