The best way to take full advantage of Melbourne’s warmer days? Gigs, street parties and festivals of all kinds. Below are some of our favourites. Do yourself a favour and join in the fun!

Something Unlimited, Saturday, 16th February
Northsiders and fans of the North, this one’s for you! Popping up at Northcote Town Hall, Something Unlimited unites art and music to bring attendees an immersive and downright epic experience. With music from some favourites including DJ JNETT, Mildlife and Wax’o Paradiso (pictured), there is a little something for everyone. It’s also a no single-use plastic zone. Huge thumbs up!

VAMFF, from Friday, 1st March
Melbourne is known for its fashion and street style culture, and we also know how to celebrate our seasoned and emerging labels and designers. Kicking off from March 1, VAMFF is a 10-day festival that will showcase new season collections from Australian designers alongside summits, workshops and plenty more. There are both free and ticketed events at the Royal Exhibition Building and VAMFF’s Plaza, plus more in and around Melbourne.

BMF: Sydney Road Street Festival, Sunday, 3rd March
Because street parties remind us of being kids, mucking around with neighbours and generally having a great time. It’s the same as an adult right? Be there when Sydney Road launches its first-ever street party as part of Brunswick Music Festival! Sydney Road will become home to 6 official stages with a stack of local artists on the lineup, plus Blak Dot Gallery will play host 2nd Annual First Nations artist market with workshops, Indigenous music, food and more. Be sure to swing by!
